Family Activity - Picnic and Berry Picking - CANCELLED
When: Saturday 11 March 2017, 2pm to 4pm
Where: Evansdale Glen
What to bring:
How to get there: To get to the Evansdale Glen you drive north out of Dunedin (towards Oamaru). As you pass the turnoff to Warrington and start going up the Kilmog hill you will see a sign on your left saying Evansdale Glen. Turn down this road and follow it nearly to the end. There’s parking along the side of the road and you can walk across the bridge to the picnic area.
Facilities: There are toilets at the picnic ground
Cancellation: Check the OAGC facebook page around 1pm if the weather looks bad or unsuitable for a picnic

What to bring:
- Sports gear (there's plenty of room for kids to run around and play games),
- Containers for blackberries, gumboots (as wee need to cross a small stream to get to the blackberry patch),
- Long sleeves and trousers to avoid prickles around the blackberry patch,
- Food and drink for afternoon tea, something to sit on (in case ground is damp),
- Sunhats,
- Sunscreen
