Summary Patrick Dawson is a past Logan Park High School student/Head Boy/Dux recipient who recently received an Outstanding Scholar Award for his results in Calculus and Statistics. He is currently studying Physics at University.
Patrick will speak to us about what motivates him, challenges him, who/what has inspired him, how he overcomes challenges, what institutional support he has received etc.. we are welcoming questions before the AGM that you may like to see covered so he can plan his presentation; there will also be time for questions after his presentation.
We do recommend bringing your children along, depending on their age and how interested they might be: we are rarely able to encourage young speakers along and I feel that it is highly relevant to us all to hear from someone who has just recently completed school exams and entered University with such great results.
Followed by the OAGC AGM
Refreshments will be offered at the end of the AGM as well as a chance to catch up informally.
