High IQ doesn’t guarantee high EQ. As the teenage years approach,
family relationships become strained because of the developing needs of gifted
students. Their hypercritical sensitivity creates problems with parents and
siblings. A quest for identify creates confusion within the individual and in
their support team. The complexities of the digital age compound these
difficulties. What is required is a social and emotional literacy program. This
session explores ways of generating MSO’s –Mutually Satisfying
Outcomes.
