Prometheus Computer Camp 
6 - 10 January 2014

  • Run by Adrienne Alexander of Taieri College and with her son David: programmer/game-developer for CerebralFix Ltd. Sponsored by Taieri College. Click here to see the flyer.

5 days of programming, game-design and gaming at 3 different levels:
  • Seniors: (Years 11-13) 3D Graphics Programming, Fundamentals of Game Design, Real-time Game Networking, Techniques for effective programming. 
  • Middle: (Years 9-10 or previous experience) Intermediate Python Programming, How to build your own Computer, Robotics. 
  • Junior: (Year 6-8) Logical thinking, binary, Hexadecimal, Introduction to Python.

Tirohanga Camp (5 mins from Mosgiel).  
  • $150 per person.  
  • Payment due by 12 December 2013.
  • Students should bring their own computer if possible. However, a limited number of laptops will be available for junior students.

LIMITED NUMBERS
  • Registrations for camp will be capped at a maximum of 40 students.
  • Places will be secured on receipt of payment, up to the maximum number of 40 places.

Please note: There are a limited number of places available for Senior Student Helpers, who will be able to attend FREE OF CHARGE in return for assisting junior students 
  • Parent helpers MOST welcome.
